Luminex L600
The L600 is the first - in - the - line, dedicated Squared Intense Pulsed Light system for long term and progressively permanent hair removal.
Featuring 16 different pre-set programs, 4 types for skin colour and 4 types for hair thickness, the L600 is ideally tailored to treat practically all skin and hair types in worry-free safety and with resulting high-efficacy.
Filtered between 610 - 1000 nm, selected-wavelengths range maximizes performance while optimizing customer safety. Results are visible after the first session and customer satisfaction is correspondingly high - even for the most demanding clients. The L600 system is technically designed for daily use and operation over long periods of times.
The Luminex L 600 has FDA, CE and C-Tick certification.

How does it work?
The L600 permits large areas to be treated in a very short time.
The principle of the Luminex involves the use of wide spectrum natural light filtered to remove Ultraviolet (UV) and Infrared (IR) wavelengths. This Intense and Selective Light is directed at the melanin, the pigment contained in, among other things, the hair. After the treatment, virtually all the visible hairs (except white or red hairs) in the treated area then fall out in approximately twenty days.
The sessions are rapid, virtually painless and the results are 2 to 3 times more durable than a properly conducted wax treatment. Over the number of sessions, the number of hairs diminishes. The remaining hairs thin and their growth becomes slower and slower. Progressively, unsightly hairs in the treated area disappear. After this, only a maintenance session from time to time is necessary depending on the needs of the individual.
Does it hurt?
The sensation of pain is extremely variable from one individual to another; it depends on:
• The individual sensitivity
• The area of the body
(the face is more sensitive than the legs, the centre of the face more sensitive than the edge of the face)
• The skin pigmentation. The more the skin is pigmented the greater the epidermis will be heated. Light skins are the least sensitive. This is why the darker the skin, the greater the pain.
• The hair density. The more hairs there are per cm?the greater the sensation of heat (density of a man's beard 455 /Iegs 50). This explains why the pain sensation diminishes with the number of sessions
In general, the sensation is that of an elastic band snapped against the skin. For most people a LOT less painful than waxing.
Is it permanent?
Approximately 20% of all hairs are in their growth phase at anyone time. Certain "resting" hairs can also become active due to age and hormonal modifications. Other factors include hair colour and thickness. Everyone is different and 8-12 sessions may be needed. After that, only two or three annual maintenance sessions are needed.
Any areas of the face and body can be treated with pulse light.
The darker the hair, the richer in melanin (pigmentation) and the better the result. Light and fine hairs are more difficult to eliminate, but may not be impossible.
